About the Role
We are seeking an Analyst with strong communication skills to join our team in Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be adept at comprehending information and effectively sharing it with key stakeholders, identifying opportunities for improvement and flagging concerns. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and escalate risks, and promptly report outstanding issues to clients.
- Perform critical trade support activities across the Trade Lifecycle, including Trade Confirmation matching, Trade Pre-Settlements support, and front-office to back-office reconciliation of trade positions.
- Generate reports and manage settlements of cash flows from trading events (e.g., Interest or Premium).
- Handle operations for Syndicated Loans and Corporate action setup and execution.
- Manage broader capital market operational tasks beyond Trade Lifecycle support, encompassing Reference Data support and Regulatory reporting (Swaps Data Repository, SDR, Know Your Customer (KYC), and various front-office and back-office reconciliations).
- Develop expertise in a diverse range of financial products, including Equity Securities and Derivatives, Interest Rates Swaps, FX Spot, Options, Futures, Credit Derivatives Swaps, Commodities Derivatives, and Fixed Income products (e.g., Corporate and Treasury Bonds).
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com, BBA, BBM, BCA) or Master’s Degree (M.Com, MBA, PGDM).
- 0 to 2 years of experience in investment banking operations, with exposure to projects, people, process, and client management.
- Foundational knowledge of finance, trade lifecycle, investment banking, and derivatives.
- Strong logical and quantitative abilities to derive actionable insights from data.
- Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to resolve issues promptly.
- Proficiency in planning, organizing, and effective time management.
