Analyst

Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company, seeks an Analyst, Information Security for its operations in Navi Mumbai, India. This critical role focuses on protecting digital assets and data from cyber threats by analyzing and enhancing existing security measures. The Analyst will manage daily operations of the security infrastructure, including monitoring, incident response, risk management, and policy enforcement. This position requires a strong understanding of security principles, experience with security tools, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. Reporting to the Director, Information Security, this is an on-site, permanent position within the Information Technology Department, with a reporting location in Pune, India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security events and alerts to detect and respond to incidents promptly, meeting defined metrics.
• Investigate security incidents to identify root causes and assess their impact.
• Implement appropriate remediation actions in response to security incidents.
• Support and maintain incident response plans.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents and breaches reported by the Security Operations Centre, providing recommendations for prevention.
• Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, antivirus software, content filters, IDS/IPS, and NGFW.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security operations role.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• Solid understanding of security principles and best practices.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of security standards and regulations including ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and GDPR.

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to travel internationally up to 10% annually.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CASP+, or GIAC.
