Analyst

Pall Corporation seeks a dedicated Analyst, Information Security to safeguard our digital assets and data from evolving cyber threats. This critical role involves analyzing and enhancing existing security measures, managing the day-to-day operations of our security infrastructure, and responding effectively to security incidents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security principles, hands-on experience with security tools, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment. Reporting to the Director, Information Security, this position is part of the Information Technology Department and is an on-site role in Navi Mumbai, India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security events and alerts to detect and respond to incidents promptly, meeting defined metrics.
• Investigate security incidents to identify root causes and assess their impact.
• Implement appropriate remediation actions to address security incidents.
• Support and maintain incident response plans.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents and breaches reported by the Security Operations Centre, providing recommendations for prevention.
• Manage and maintain security tools and technologies, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, antivirus software, content filters, IDS/IPS, and NGFW.

Essential Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a security operations role.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
• A strong foundational knowledge of security principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with security standards and regulations including ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and GDPR.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CASP+, or GIAC are advantageous.

Additional Information:

• Ability to travel internationally up to 10% annually.
