The firm was founded by a seasoned investment professional with experience in financial and investment due-diligence and investigative research for international alternative investment and M&A advisory firms. Recently backed by a US-based family office, we aim to scale rapidly.

The role involves working closely on data gathering, M&A, equity research, and corporate finance. The position is integral to the team and will grow with the firm.

Job responsibilities:

• A) Using all publicly available sources to produce information useful for clients.
• B) Building three statement financial models.
• C) Analyzing businesses, industries, and economies to build investment theses on companies.
• D) Building confidential information memorandums (CIMs) and pitch books.
• E) Conducting valuation based on comparable transaction/public company analysis.
• F) Preparing buyer/target lists for M&A clients.

Skills and characteristics required:

• A) 0.5–2 years prior background in equity research (sell side/buy side), investment banking, marketing of asset management, Big-4 accounting, or strategy/management consulting.
• B) MBA/CA/CPA/Masters/CFAs; in select cases, undergrad/bachelor’s degree may be considered for exceptional candidates.
• C) Highly entrepreneurial, thrives in independent/unstructured environments, and learns quickly.
• D) Ability to express thoughts clearly in written (PPT/Word/Excel/Email) and oral form.
• E) Strong quantitative skills.
• F) History of strong work ethic, self-motivation, initiative, resourcefulness, and success.
• G) Ability and desire to multi-task and work independently, shaping projects.
