Analyst II

As an Analyst II, Security Engineer at Diligent, you’ll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our corporate systems, infrastructure, and cloud environments. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers to design, automate, and scale security solutions that protect endpoints, cloud workloads, and networks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Security Platform Administration: Improve and administer core security platforms like EDR, vulnerability management, MDR, CSPM, and SIEM to ensure robust security telemetry and reliable detection.
• SIEM Log Management: Onboard new log sources, monitor pipelines, and maintain data quality for comprehensive security monitoring.
• Security Architecture: Contribute to architecture reviews, translating standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF) into practical guidance for engineering teams.
• Automation & AI Workflows: Design SOAR playbooks, scripts (Python/PowerShell), and AI-assisted tools to streamline alert triage and incident response.
• Emerging Tech Evaluation: Run proofs of concept, assess security tools, and influence long-term architecture decisions.
• Change Management Integration: Embed security controls into enterprise workflows, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure security-by-design.

This role is ideal for security engineers with 3–5 years of experience in enterprise security tools, cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), and automation. Strong communication skills and a passion for solving complex security challenges are essential.
