The Opportunity
This role involves owning and executing global compliance monitoring processes for engagements across various Service Lines. You will ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and EY Policy requirements. The ideal candidate will thrive in a complex and unstructured environment, demonstrating strong out-of-the-box thinking, logical reasoning, clear communication skills, and the ability to make timely, informed decisions.
The Global Compliance Engagement Testing (GCET) program, part of Global Risk Management, conducts internal reviews to test engagements against legal, regulatory, and internal EY policy compliances. We provide feedback and ratings to engagement teams and deliver analytical reports to global, area, and regional stakeholders. This is a significant opportunity to contribute to strengthening EY's compliance framework.
As an Analyst, you will be responsible for the timely execution of compliance testing processes, including conducting research and analysis to identify potential non-compliance with policies or regulatory breaches. You will also support other process-related activities.
Your Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise:
- Learn and utilize EY databases and tools for compliance monitoring validations.
- Perform compliance monitoring through systematic and intuitive secondary research.
- Analyze research findings, draw inferences, and conclude reviews.
- Ensure timely transmittal of review outcomes to engagement teams.
- Apply analytical and project management methodologies to meet core KPIs.
- Complete assigned projects in line with standard operating procedures and timelines.
- Proactively identify and implement process efficiencies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
- Undertake ad hoc process activities as assigned.
- Manage process deadlines and ensure quality delivery to avoid escalations.
- Progress to a reviewer role based on consistent high-quality output.

To Qualify for the Role:
- Post-graduate or equivalent degree from a reputed institution.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in:
- Research or compliance processes.
- Data analysis and reporting.
- Strong logical reasoning skills.
- Experience working in a fast-moving, client-driven environment.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Knowledge of risk management attributes.
- Critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems independently using data.
- Experience with MS Office suites, including Microsoft 365, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
