Analyst Developer

As a Software Developer at FNZ, you will gain deep expertise in our application, business, and the financial industry. You will translate complex financial business requirements into high-transactional, high-availability, secure, and robust working systems. This full-stack role offers involvement in exciting projects and the creation of world-class software. Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating closely with Analyst Testers to define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Designing and building intuitive user interfaces and interactive financial tools for financial advisors and investors.
• Providing solutions and recommendations to resolve technical issues, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and design requirements.
• Partnering with fellow Developers and Software Engineers to share knowledge, best practices, and technology insights, fostering cross-project system design.
• Proactively resolving technical impediments in development, coding, and testing environments, and assisting others as needed.

We are looking for candidates with:

• Over 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, with a strong background in Java.
• Experience in Capital Markets, Brokering, Custody, Equities, Fixed Income, or Exchange domains.
• Self-starters who thrive with autonomy and a self-directed work style.
• Enthusiastic collaborators who excel in dynamic, fast-paced, high-performance team environments.
• A passion for creating innovative solutions.
• Experience with web development and a solid understanding of web services.
• Proactive individuals who take ownership, pride in their work, and demonstrate initiative in a delivery-focused setting.
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English (spoken and written). Proficiency in English is essential due to the international nature of our operations and client base.
