Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an Analyst – Data & Insights to join our team in Gurugram. You will work closely with the Insights team to analyze large datasets, build analytical solutions, automate workflows, and generate actionable insights for brands.

This is a strategic role where you go beyond reporting to understand root causes and business implications. The position offers a pathway to transition into an Insights Consultant role with increasing ownership of problem-solving and stakeholder interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets using SQL (joins, CTEs, window functions) to answer complex business questions.
• Utilize Python/scripting for automation and workflow improvement.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, opportunities, and root causes across digital commerce platforms.
• Convert ambiguous business problems into structured analytical approaches.
• Support the team in building reports and providing clear recommendations to internal stakeholders.

Technical Requirements

• Strong SQL skills with experience handling large datasets.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python or scripting for automation.
• Solid foundation in data structures, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving.

Business & Analytical Skills

• Demonstrated business acumen with curiosity to connect data points to real-world implications.
• Ability to break down complex problems into manageable components.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written/verbal communication skills.

Eligibility

• Graduate from an IIT with a strong academic record.
• 1–3 years of experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence, consulting, product analytics, or similar roles.
