Analyst

Summary of Role:

As a Data Analyst, you will analyze and interpret data to provide data-driven solutions to our customers. On our team, you will have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Extract data from multiple sources, cleanse, transform, and load the data into a central repository.
• Analyze complex data, derive insights and foresights, and present them to leadership.
• Create various reports, dashboards, and visualizations for design solutions.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends, patterns, and relationships in complex data sets.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and automate manual tasks.

Must Have Skills: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in the following skills, tools & technologies including but not limited to:

• Data cleansing, transformation, and validation in Power BI using Power Query and loading the data into a relational database for further processing.
• Writing complex SQL queries in any relational database environment like Oracle, MySQL, etc.
• Experience in analyzing complex business data, deriving insights, and creating dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI.
• Data analysis using Microsoft Excel, including but not limited to pivot tables, data cleaning and validation, VLOOKUP, text, date & time functions, data visualizations, sorting, and filtering.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution, or a related industry/environment.
• Experience in ETL tools like Pentaho, Informatica, SSIS, etc., that includes data ingestion, transformation, cleansing, and data loading.
• Experience in creating and understanding data models.
• Experience in advanced analytics and tools like Python, R, etc.
• Experience in visualization tools like Tableau.
• Adept at creating presentations and presenting them to stakeholders, senior leadership, etc.
• Understanding of machine learning, data mining, and experience in algorithmic program development and coding.
