GXO Logistics Inc is seeking a Data Analyst for its GOSC 1 team in Mumbai, India. As a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in analyzing and interpreting data to deliver data-driven solutions to our clients. Roles and Responsibilities
- Extract, cleanse, transform, and load data from various sources into a central repository.
- Analyze complex datasets to derive actionable insights and present findings to leadership.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support solution design.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends, patterns, and relationships within complex data.
- Propose and implement process improvements, including the automation of manual tasks.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2-5 years of experience in data analysis.
- Proficiency in data cleansing, transformation, and validation using Power BI and Power Query.
- Experience loading data into relational databases.
- Strong skills in writing complex SQL queries for relational database environments (e.g., Oracle, MySQL).
- Proven experience in analyzing business data, deriving insights, and creating dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data cleaning, validation, VLOOKUP, text/date/time functions, data visualization, sorting, and filtering.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the supply chain, logistics, or distribution industry.
- Familiarity with ETL tools such as Pentaho, Informatica, or SSIS for data ingestion, transformation, cleansing, and loading.
- Understanding and experience with data modeling.
- Experience with advanced analytics tools like Python or R.
- Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau.
- Strong presentation skills for communicating with stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Knowledge of machine learning, data mining, and experience in algorithmic program development and coding.
