Team Overview

This hybrid position supports the development of credit risk products and solutions for the CA Data Science Team, requiring presence at an assigned TU office location minimum two days a week. The role is located in Pune, India.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree (4 years) in statistics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics, engineering, operations research, or another highly quantitative field. A Master's or PhD is preferred.
• At least 2+ years of professional experience performing analytic work in Financial Services, consumer credit, or a related industry; 4-6 years for senior roles implied by the title 'Analyst' vs requirements.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills with proficiency in R, SQL, Hive, Python, C/C++, Java, and Microsoft Office tools.
• Versatile interpersonal communication style to effectively engage at multiple levels within and outside the organization; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project management skills to manage multiple assignments effectively and travel up to 20% if required by business needs.

What We'd Prefer To See

• Familiarity with credit bureau data and business practices, Tableau or other visualization tools, advanced Excel formulas/macros/pivot tables.
• Experience operating under modest supervision in a complex, dynamic, matrixed environment within companies having global presence.
• Proficiency with modern big data frameworks including Hadoop, Spark, and cloud platforms.
