The Opportunity
EY's Assurance division is seeking an Analyst for the National Assurance - Audit - Accounting unit based in Ahmedabad. This role is crucial in helping clients comply with audit standards, providing clear perspectives to audit committees, and delivering critical information to stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities: Technical Excellence
- Deliver high-quality work on assigned tasks, adhering to EY's methodology and engagement team expectations.
- Develop a foundational understanding of relevant industries and sectors, identifying technical issues and assurance risks.
- Execute and document specific review procedures as directed by engagement teams.
- Build knowledge of risk management, including understanding significant business processes, applicable regulations, and client-specific risks.
- Identify accounting issues promptly, document facts and findings clearly, and discuss with senior colleagues.
- Collaborate with senior team members to set goals and define responsibilities.
- Contribute ideas for improving the efficiency of review procedures across various clients.
- Uphold EY's ethical and professional standards, including data confidentiality.
- Develop proficiency in using EY's technology and tools, sharing knowledge and enhancing service delivery.
Skills and Attributes
Qualifications:
- CA Inter with completed Articleship in Statutory Auditing.
- Basic understanding of accounting and auditing principles.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, multitask, remain flexible, and perform under pressure.
Experience:
- 0 to 1 year of experience in Statutory Auditing following the completion of CA Articleship.
