AIOps Architect

About the Role

EPAM is seeking an AIOps Architect to lead AI, agentic automation, and observability architecture for our Software Development Platform (SDP) Services. This role manages a vast estate of cloud Python applications supporting revenue-critical capabilities such as Algo Trading, Quant Models, and Data Loaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain AI-driven monitoring and observability architecture for the SDP platform estate.
• Design and operate automated triage and incident classification processes to ensure reliable execution across 48 tier-one critical apps with sub-2-hour RTO.
• Provide technical governance on platform-layer changes, guardrails, and patterns for low-code/no-code environments.
• Serve as the primary interface between operations and SDP platform governance functions.
• Surface operational failure patterns and propose remediation strategies.

Critical Requirements

You will ensure SLA adherence (e.g., P1 15 min/4 h) with 24x7 coverage for highly critical applications across production environments spanning multiple countries. We are looking for experts in autonomous multi-agent workflows, LLMOps pipelines, RAG systems, and enterprise monitoring tooling such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus/Grafana.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of overall IT experience with hands-on platform/solution architecture and AI/ML or AIOps background.
• Experience building autonomous multi-agent workflows in cloud-hosted Python environments (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with distributed databases, low-code/no-code governance, and enterprise monitoring tools managing 300+ production environments.
