About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with a strong background in computer vision and image processing to contribute to the development of cutting-edge algorithms and software solutions for high-performance inspection systems. You will be instrumental in working with advanced imaging technologies and tackling complex engineering challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine image processing and computer vision algorithms.
- Implement techniques such as filtering, edge detection, thresholding, and transformations.
- Design and build solutions for feature extraction and object detection.
- Utilize libraries like OpenCV, scikit-image, or MATLAB for development.
- Write and optimize high-performance C/C++ code within Linux environments.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex distributed applications.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Provide support for on-site deployments and engage with customers to ensure successful implementation.
Required Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years of professional experience in computer vision or image processing.
- A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience with C++ and image processing techniques is mandatory.
- Proficiency with OpenCV, scikit-image, or MATLAB.
- A solid understanding of fundamental concepts in linear algebra, calculus, and statistics.
- Experience working in semiconductor, product, or hardware engineering companies is highly valued.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.
- A Master's degree is preferred, or a Bachelor's degree with significant relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience through academic projects or internships in computer vision.
- Exposure to machine learning and deep learning concepts is beneficial.
