AI/ML Engineer

GeekyAnts is seeking an entry-level AI/ML Engineer in Bengaluru, India, to support the development and integration of AI-powered systems. This role requires strong Python and API fundamentals to build microservices using FastAPI or Flask, integrate cloud AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic), and develop data cleaning scripts with Pandas and NumPy. The engineer will work with vector databases like pgvector or Pinecone for search and retrieval, assist in model evaluation and prompt design, and collaborate on deploying inference endpoints within Dockerized environments. Key technical skills include proficient Python, FastAPI/Flask, basic PyTorch/TensorFlow, Pandas, NumPy, SQL basics, and familiarity with cloud AI APIs and LangChain. Desirable skills include knowledge of vector databases, embedding generation, and agentic frameworks like LangGraph or CrewAI. The ideal candidate will be an eager learner with a curiosity for the AI ecosystem and open-source projects, capable of working effectively with mentors and cross-functional teams. This permanent position involves building chatbots, AI-enabled backend APIs, and document/speech intelligence modules. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is required.
