Full Job Description
Alter Domus is seeking a motivated AI/ML Engineer to join their hybrid team in Hyderabad. This role involves building and prototyping AI solutions, automating workflows, and integrating AI into existing systems. You will leverage cutting-edge LLMs, agentic frameworks, and AI coding assistants to accelerate development.
What You'll Do
- Build & Prototype: Integrate off-the-shelf LLMs (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic Claude, Meta LLaMA APIs) into Alter Domus products and agentify workflows. Rapidly prototype using low-code/visual studios (Firebase Studio, v0, Lovable) and agentic frameworks (LangChain, AutoGen, MCP/A2A).
- Automate & Integrate: Connect AI assistants to real systems via MCP, APIs, webhooks, and microservices.
- Code with AI Helpers: Utilize GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, and Q Developer to enhance script, API, and workflow development. Write unit/integration tests and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
- Live Projects: Develop and contribute to key initiatives such as domusAI (an adaptive AI assistant platform), domiAI (a flagship virtual assistant), domusDocs (a document extraction engine), Alter Domus Knowledge Based Agents, and a Multi-Agentic Framework for coordinating complex AI workflows.
- Learn & Collaborate: Work with an agile team of data scientists, engineers, and AI specialists to master data analysis, prompt engineering, and AI implementation. Collaborate to rapidly prototype, iterate based on feedback, and deploy customized solutions.
- Support & Iterate: Assist in defining test plans, troubleshooting issues, and tuning prompts for optimal accuracy and performance. Gather feedback from business stakeholders and iterate on prototypes.

Technical Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience with Python and data science libraries (NumPy, Pandas, PyTorch, TensorFlow).
- Experience creating agentic AI workflows using Lang graph, Autogen, CarewAI, or similar agent libraries.
- Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Qdrant, or similar).
- Proficiency with REST APIs and microservice architecture.
- Familiarity with the AWS cloud platform.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of NLP concepts and LLM implementation.
- Experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning language models.
