AI/ML Engineer

TaskUs is seeking an experienced Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer with 2 to 3 years of Python experience to join our team in Chennai, India. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing innovative products by leveraging cutting-edge AI, NLP, NLU, LLM, and Generative AI technologies. You will have a strong foundation in machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a proven track record of building scalable and reliable AI-based products. This is a permanent, hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop machine learning models using AI, NLP, NLU, LLM, and Generative AI to address complex business challenges.
• Implement algorithms for efficient data processing, feature extraction, and model training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective AI solutions.
• Research and evaluate emerging AI technologies and tools to enhance product performance and efficiency.
• Manage and mentor a team of AI and Machine Learning Engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, scalable AI products.
• Communicate technical concepts and outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Proven experience in building and deploying AI-based products incorporating NLP, NLU, LLM, and Generative AI.
• Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming, Python, FastAPI, and Generative AI Prompting.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Demonstrated experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience with AWS AI Services is a plus.
