AI/ML Engineer

Role Overview

As an AI/ML Engineer at Cognite's Bengaluru office, you will lead the development of cutting-edge industrial AI solutions. You will be responsible for end-to-end prototyping, designing complex multi-agent workflows, and integrating Gen AI models into the Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) ecosystem to solve mission-critical challenges in industrial environments.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy cross-stack prototypes using ATLAS AI and open-source frameworks.
• Architect multi-agent systems leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and advanced reasoning techniques.
• Optimize system performance, retrieval pipelines, and model scalability for real-world industrial deployments.
• Collaborate with solution engineers and clients to ensure AI outputs deliver measurable business value.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Strong expertise in Python and Gen AI frameworks like LangChain or Transformers.
• Proficiency in cloud-native development and ML pipeline orchestration.
• Strong background in data labeling, model training, and performance tuning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with Cognite Data Fusion (CDF).
• Deep understanding of industrial data types, including time series, asset hierarchies, and knowledge graphs.
• Experience managing imperfect or sparse industrial datasets.
