AI/ML Developer

EY is seeking an experienced AI/ML Developer for its Technology Assurance team in Pune, India. This role involves contributing technically to client engagements and internal projects, focusing on AI and Machine Learning solutions within the risk assurance domain.

As an AI/ML Developer, you will be instrumental in developing robust AI/ML models to derive valuable insights and enhance decision-making across various business lines. Your responsibilities will include leveraging predictive modeling for customer experience optimization, revenue generation, and ad targeting. You will utilize your understanding of Machine Learning, NLP, LLMs, GenAI, and deep learning techniques to solve complex problems.

The ideal candidate will apply advanced machine learning techniques such as SVM, Decision Trees, Neural Networks, Random Forests, and Gradient Boosting. Proficiency in Prompt Engineering for workflow orchestration using tools like Python, Airflow, and Terraform is essential. Experience in client-facing roles, collaborating with cross-functional teams including internal audits, IT security, and business stakeholders to assess control effectiveness and facilitate remediation, is also key.

Additionally, experience in IT Controls, Risk, and Compliance is highly desirable. This includes testing internal controls (e.g., IT general controls, application controls, IPE related controls, interface controls) and designing IT Risk Controls frameworks like IT SOX.

To qualify, you must possess at least 2 years of working experience in developing large-scale AI/ML models. You should have technical knowledge of Big Data Platforms, AI technologies (LLMs, Vector Databases), and comprehensive DevOps services. Familiarity with developing or tuning LLMs and Generative AI, including NLP, fine-tuning, and LLM model development, is required. Knowledge of higher-level trends in LLMs and open-source platforms is a plus.

Proficiency in AI/ML programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, along with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras, is mandatory. You will also implement monitoring and logging tools for AI model performance and reliability, and utilize tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Git for AI pipeline management. Automation through Python scripting, databases, and technologies like Databricks, Synapse, ML, AI, and ADF is expected.

Ideally, you hold a Bachelor's Degree or above in mathematics, information systems, statistics, computer science, Data Science, or related disciplines. Relevant certifications are a plus.
