AI/ML Developer (Full Stack) - Generative AI & LLM Focus

First American Technology in Bengaluru is seeking a hands-on AI/ML Developer with a strong full-stack background and 3-5 years of experience transitioning into the AI/ML domain. If you are passionate about Generative AI, prompt engineering, and building custom GPT-based solutions, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Large Language Models (LLMs) & Generative AI

• Design, develop, and maintain LLM-powered solutions, including custom GPTs and domain-specific assistants.
• Optimize prompts, system instructions, and context strategies for enhanced accuracy and reliability.
• Implement advanced LLM techniques such as prompt chaining, tool calling, and basic agentic workflows.
• Build and support Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines utilizing vector databases.
• Evaluate, test, and refine LLM outputs against defined quality and safety criteria.
• Adhere to responsible AI principles, implement safety guardrails, and maintain governance standards in all AI implementations.

Full Stack Application Development

• Develop end-to-end AI-enabled applications, including robust backend services, APIs, and seamless UI integrations.
• Integrate cutting-edge LLM capabilities into existing enterprise applications.
• Create reusable services and components to efficiently support AI features.
• Debug and resolve complex application or AI-related issues to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.

Cloud, DevOps & MLOps Support

• Develop and deploy AI solutions on cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines for both application and AI workloads.
• Assist with MLOps workflows, including model versioning, deployment strategies, and proactive monitoring.
• Ensure all solutions are secure, reliable, and cost-efficient in production environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3-5 years of comprehensive software engineering experience.
• Proven strong full-stack development expertise.
• Proficiency in Python and a solid grasp of programming fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and prompt engineering techniques.
• Demonstrated experience in creating or customizing GPT-based solutions.
• Familiarity with RAG architectures and vector databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
• Basic understanding of MLOps, DevOps, and production support best practices.

Education & Additional Skills (Good to Have):

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks is considered a plus.
