AI Staff Developer Advocate

MongoDB, a premier database platform enabling rapid customer innovation, is seeking an AI Staff Developer Advocate. This role focuses on promoting MongoDB's AI capabilities, fostering engagement within the developer community, and cultivating strategic partnerships with AI companies. The ideal candidate will leverage their deep ML/AI expertise, expand their knowledge of embedding models and rerankers to master Voyage AI, and collaborate with events and field teams to connect with developers and founders in the vibrant Bay Area AI ecosystem. Responsibilities include speaking at key AI events, leading workshops at major conferences like AWS re:Invent, creating comprehensive educational content (tutorials, articles, videos, workshops) with code examples, and providing crucial developer feedback to Product and Technology teams. You will also interface with Partner Managers to co-create content and co-host events showcasing MongoDB's role in the AI landscape, support community engagement through user groups and influencer programs, and lead sessions for customer teams to optimize their AI use cases with MongoDB. This full-time, hybrid role requires significant engagement in the Bay Area AI scene.
