AI Solutions Architect

About the Role

We are hiring an AI Solutions Architect for a 6-month contract opportunity located entirely remote in the USA. Join our internal 'AI Pod' working with iconic consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands on critical AI discovery initiatives.

Position Overview:

• The Lead Architect serves as both business-facing technical partner and hands-on engineer within Digital IT.
• You will own structured discovery, solution architecture, design assurance, and full-stack delivery for applications, AI agents, web apps, integrations, and data services built on the Azure platform (Azure AI Foundry).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business/technical workshops to identify high-value AI opportunities.
• Design end-to-end architectures including data flow, integration patterns, and operational models using Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, etc.
• Develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept for GenAI, RAG, and AI agents demonstrating ROI and production readiness.
• Implement LLM-focused MLOps: versioning, monitoring, CI/CD pipelines via Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Define security, compliance, and governance controls including data protection and model risk management.
• Collaborate with engineering teams using Python, C#/.NET, or TypeScript to build maintainable code and integrations.
