AI Software Engineer

Role: AI Software Engineer (FDE) - Intern

About the Role:

This is a unique, immersive 1-year internship for final-year students aiming to skip traditional tooling tasks and ship real production features from day one. Working as Forward-Deployed Engineers (FDEs), candidates will understand business impact before implementation and utilize AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor as their primary workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ship end-to-end production features for live client engagements under senior guidance.
• Leverage AI coding assistants (Claude, Cursor) to write, review, and deploy code rapidly.
• Take ownership of well-scoped features: from requirement analysis to testing and deployment.
• Collaborate closely with product teams to ensure technical specs align with business goals.
• Participate in rigorous code reviews before every production push.
• Contribute across diverse product lines including portfolio, vault, streaming, and rips.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Final year of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields (self-taught candidates with equivalent experience considered).
• Demonstrable proficiency with AI coding tools is required.
• Solid fundamentals in modern stacks like TypeScript/React/Node.js or Python.
• Strong business acumen and aptitude for rapid learning in a high-ownership environment.

Nice to Have:

• Personal projects, hackathon wins, or open-source contributions built with AI tools.
• Prior internship experience in startups or client-services settings.
• Familiarity with fintech, marketplaces, or consumer applications.
