The Opportunity

We are seeking an AI Research Engineer (II) with 3–5 years of experience to bridge the gap between applied research and production-grade AI systems. You will design, build, and optimize Python-based LLM and RAG solutions specifically for transforming complex health data.

Key Responsibilities

• Review relevant research literature to identify techniques applicable to real-world problems.
• Formulate hypotheses, design experiments, and validate findings against proprietary datasets.
• Build, deploy, and maintain production-quality AI systems using Python.
• Design and optimize embedding-based retrieval pipelines (vector search, chunking, indexing, ranking).
• Develop robust RAG and LLM-based systems with effective context construction.
• Create evaluation harnesses to measure system quality and reliability.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in applied AI research or production development.
• Strong Python programming skills and SQL fundamentals.
• Experience with embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, and information retrieval.
• Ability to develop LLM-powered applications with structured outputs.
