AI Native Backend Engineer

Role Overview:
Staffnix is seeking an AI Native Backend Engineer for a critical 3-month contract role based in Bengaluru/Bangalore, India.

Mandatory Requirements:
- Experience: Candidates must have between 2 to 6 years of hands-on backend software engineering experience from a product company background (B2B SaaS or B2C).
- Current CTC: Candidate's current salary should be above 10 LPA.

- Immediate Joiners Only:
This is an urgent requirement. Onboarding must happen within a week of joining.

Tech Stack & Core Skills:
- Strong, deep expertise in Core Java with solid coding fundamentals (primary skill).
- Proven experience building and deploying scalable microservices handling millions of events daily.
- Demonstrated ability to own business-critical components: maintaining connectors, resolving customer escalations, managing security fixes, debugging complex issues, and delivering end-to-end features.

AI Fluency & Native Engineering (Critical):
- Must have daily hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor for scaffolding, test generation, code review, and debugging. Proficiency in writing precise prompts and critically evaluating generated code is required.
Must-have: Actual production deployment of AI/LLM-powered features (e.g., RAG implementations, LLM-based scoring models, or custom AI assistants). Mere tool usage for coding assistance does not suffice; candidates must demonstrate true 'AI-native' engineering capabilities.

- Strong system design and architecture discussion skills with the ability to contribute effectively in minimal supervision environments.
