About the Role

Project Role: Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description: As a Custom Software Engineer, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. This role requires a strong understanding of SAP FI CO Finance and the ability to integrate with other SAP modules, particularly MM for Account Payable processes. You will be responsible for ensuring financial reporting and analysis are robust and that application issues are troubleshot efficiently.

Summary

As an Application Lead, you will spearhead the design, development, and configuration of applications, serving as the central point of communication. Your daily activities will involve close collaboration with diverse teams to achieve project objectives, facilitating discussions to overcome challenges, and guiding your team through the development lifecycle. Strategic planning and decision-making to optimize application performance and user experience will be crucial, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and project goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Collaborate with and manage the team to ensure high performance.
• Take ownership of team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key strategic decisions.
• Provide solutions to complex problems, both within the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions to foster team development and capability enhancement.
• Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to ensure timely delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Must-Have Skills:
• Proficiency in SAP FI CO Finance.
• Experience in Account Payable (AP) processes and integration with MM modules.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
• Experience with integration across various SAP modules.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.
• Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve application issues.

Additional Information

• The candidate should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience specifically in SAP FI CO Finance.
• This position is based in Hyderabad, India.
• A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is a mandatory requirement.
