AI / ML Engineer

Accenture is seeking an experienced AI / ML Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing advanced applications and systems that leverage cutting-edge AI tools and cloud AI services. You will be responsible for creating production-ready solutions within robust cloud or on-premises application pipelines.

A key aspect of this role involves applying Generative AI (GenAI) models as part of solution design, alongside expertise in deep learning, neural networks, chatbots, and image processing. You will be expected to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), collaborating with and leading a team to achieve project goals. Your responsibilities will include making critical team decisions, engaging with multiple stakeholders, and contributing to key strategic choices. You will also be tasked with providing solutions to complex problems affecting your immediate team and across various departments.

This position requires a strong ability to facilitate knowledge sharing and mentor team members to enhance overall performance. You will also play a role in evaluating and implementing new technologies and methodologies to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Make and take responsibility for team decisions.

• Provide innovative solutions to immediate team and cross-team challenges.
• Foster knowledge sharing and provide mentorship within the team.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and methodologies for project improvement.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proficiency in developing and deploying Virtual Agents.
• Strong understanding of AI frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms and their AI services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques and tools.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable and efficient AI solutions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in AI/ML, with a specific focus on Virtual Agents.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• This position is based in our Bengaluru office.
