AI-ML Data Engineer Opportunity in Pune, India

Coreflex Solutions Inc. is seeking a talented AI-ML Data Engineer to join our growing team in Pune, India. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and Machine Learning projects.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design, construct, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows for diverse structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Develop, train, validate, and deploy advanced machine learning and AI models utilizing popular frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Collaborate closely with data engineers, business analysts, and product managers to transform analytical requirements into production-ready models and APIs.
  • Optimize data processing performance and model inference pipelines for enhanced scalability and cost-efficiency, with a preference for cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Partner with data visualization and BI teams to create insightful analytics dashboards powered by AI model outputs.
  • Champion data quality, governance, and adherence to organizational and regulatory compliance standards.
  • Articulate complex technical outcomes clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Machine Learning, or AI solution development.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and essential data manipulation libraries including Pandas, NumPy, or PySpark.
  • Demonstrated experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, Databricks, AWS Glue, or Apache Spark.
  • Solid understanding of core ML algorithms (supervised, unsupervised, NLP, deep learning) and practical experience with at least one deployment-ready framework (TensorFlow / PyTorch).
  • Experience in deploying models via REST APIs, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), or serverless computing platforms (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, including AWS (S3, Redshift, SageMaker), Azure (Synapse, ML Studio), or GCP (BigQuery, Vertex AI).
  • Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data security best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful projects in agile environments and adeptly managing competing priorities.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, or prompt engineering for text/image applications.
  • Knowledge of data versioning tools like DVC and experience with feature stores for ML pipelines.
  • Exposure to data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
  • Understanding of DevOps/MLOps principles for CI/CD in model deployment.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS AI/ML Specialty, Azure Data Scientist, or Google Cloud ML Engineer.
