About Highrise
We are seeking a mid-level AI Infrastructure Operations Engineer for Tier 2 support of our large-scale GPU compute and storage platforms. This role focuses on owning technical tickets, restoring service, investigating recurring issues, and maintaining reliable day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tier 2 Incident Management: Diagnose faults using system logs and dashboards; restore services within SLA targets with NOC coordination.
- Compute & GPU Operations: Troubleshoot Linux servers, GPU health alerts (NVIDIA), firmware/driver issues, and node provisioning via automation.
- Storage Ops: Monitor distributed storage systems for capacity/throughput/alerts; execute recovery workflows for file/object/block platforms.
- Operational Readiness: Assist with upgrades/maintenance; improve runbooks and automate repetitive tasks using Bash or Python scripts.
About You
Bachelor's in CS/engineering preferred. 3–6 years experience supporting Linux/HPC/data center infrastructure required. Strong troubleshooting skills, familiarity with BMC interfaces (iDRAC/iLO), storage tech (NFS/object), and ticketing systems essential.
