About the Role

Legato is seeking a Senior Analyst IT Security II with expertise in AI and Information Security to join our team. This full-time, senior associate position plays a crucial role in advancing our cybersecurity capabilities through innovative AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AI infrastructure for model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build and optimize AI agents for critical cybersecurity use cases, including threat detection, triage, and automated response.
• Integrate advanced AI solutions with existing security tools such as SIEM, SOAR, and EDR platforms.
• Lead the development of robust data pipelines and feature engineering workflows for security telemetry.
• Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of AI systems in production environments.
• Collaborate closely with cybersecurity teams to translate operational needs into effective AI-driven solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and actively contribute to establishing best practices in AI engineering and MLOps.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic systems, as well as emerging cybersecurity trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.

Experience Required

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning or AI systems in production environments.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proficiency with cloud-based AI infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of MLOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and system monitoring.
• Knowledge of fundamental cybersecurity principles and tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Experience in building AI agents or working with LLM-based systems (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI APIs).
• Familiarity with real-time data processing and streaming frameworks.
• Experience in security automation or incident response workflows.
• Contributions to open-source AI or security projects are a plus.
