Full Job Description
Axiad is seeking an innovative AI-First Golang Developer with 6-8 years of professional software development experience, specializing in Golang and PostgreSQL. This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong AI-First mindset, eager to leverage AI-assisted development tools and methodologies to boost productivity and code quality while building robust, scalable microservices. The position requires deep expertise in Go programming and database design, coupled with practical experience in microservices architecture. You will actively engage in AI-driven coding, testing, and deployment processes to accelerate software delivery and foster innovation. The role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, with a hybrid work arrangement and is a full-time position.
Role Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Golang and PostgreSQL within an AI-augmented development environment.
- Champion AI-First development workflows by utilizing AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf), automated code generation, and AI-based code reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable microservices solutions.
- Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven services, prioritizing security, scalability, and performance.
- Implement and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, employing tuning strategies to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
- Participate in continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, integrating AI tools for enhanced automation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to services and databases, utilizing AI-powered debugging tools.
- Contribute to architectural reviews, design discussions, and prototype development with a focus on AI-driven innovation.
- Mentor junior developers in adopting AI-first methodologies and best practices for Golang microservices development.
Skills and Requirements
- 6-8 years of professional software development experience with deep expertise in Golang.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL database design, performance tuning, and querying.
- Proven experience designing and working with microservices architectures.
- Demonstrable adoption of an AI-First development mindset and tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf); knowledge of at least one AI development tool is mandatory.
- Expertise in RESTful APIs, message queues, and event-driven systems.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Git, CI/CD tools, and automated deployment practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of advanced microservices patterns (e.g., CQRS, event sourcing, circuit breakers).
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Understanding of DevOps culture and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
