AI-First Developer Role at MasterTech Web Applications in Thane, Maharashtra

MasterTech Web Applications is seeking a hands-on, onsite AI-First Developer for their Thane, Maharashtra office. This role is ideal for a developer with deep expertise in AI coding platforms such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Antigravity, and Emergent.sh. You will be instrumental in enhancing existing projects and building new products from the ground up, integrating AI-first workflows into every stage of development.

Key Responsibilities:

AI-Assisted Development

• Leverage AI coding platforms (Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, Emergent.sh, etc.) as your primary development tools.
• Analyze and understand existing codebases with AI assistance to confidently add new features.
• Translate product requirements into production-ready code using AI tools.
• Critically review and validate AI-generated code before deployment.

New Product Development

• Architect, scaffold, and deploy new products from inception using AI-first methodologies.
• Develop across web and mobile platforms as project requirements dictate.

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with the team on project priorities, scope, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding blockers, progress, and decisions.
• Document prompts, workflows, and code decisions to facilitate team knowledge sharing and build upon previous work.

What We Are Looking For:

AI Coding Tools Expertise (Core Requirement)

• Demonstrated daily, hands-on experience with AI coding platforms like Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Antigravity, Emergent.sh, or similar.
• Proficiency in no-code and vibe-code environments such as Cursor, Windsurf, Bolt, Lovable, v0, Replit AI, or equivalents.
• Skill in deconstructing feature requests into effective prompts, validating AI outputs, and iterating on solutions.
• Experience in reading and modifying AI-generated codebases, not just initial generation.

Development Fundamentals

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with React or React Native is a significant advantage.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and integrating third-party services.
• Proficiency in Git and GitHub, including branching, committing, and pull requests.

Soft Skills

• Self-directed, proactive, and capable of independently tackling tasks.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the flexibility to adapt approaches.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A genuine passion for AI tools and a keen interest in staying updated with the latest advancements.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in building AI agents or complex multi-step automation workflows.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs from providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google Gemini.
• Experience with Firebase services (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions).
• Knowledge of Node.js or Express for backend development.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.

This is a full-time, in-person position located in Thane, Maharashtra.
