AI Engineer

About The Role

This role sits at the intersection of AI application engineering and platform reliability within CrowdStrike's Core Tech, Go To Market IT Apps Team. As a hybrid AI Engineer (Dev + DevOps), you will build and own the full lifecycle of agentic AI solutions: from designing LLM-powered workflows and autonomous agents to engineering CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, platform observability, and DevSecOps practices.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead engineering delivery for agentic AI capabilities across GTM stakeholders (Salesforce, Slack, third-party apps), owning requirements through production deployment.
• Design and build LLM-powered workflows using frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, MCP, and Semantic Kernel.
• Define scalable enterprise AI architecture patterns: model routing, orchestration, memory management, and multi-tenant isolation.
• Build and optimize RAG systems, semantic search pipelines, and vector retrieval strategies for GTM data domains.
• Develop Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Platform Events, and Agentforce agent actions integrated with AI backends.
• Maintain observability stacks (tracing, logging) using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CDK) across AWS Bedrock and Vertex AI.
• Implement DevSecOps practices: supply-chain security, prompt benchmarking, hallucination reduction, and automated testing for non-deterministic outputs.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of software engineering experience (App Dev + Platform/Infra).
• Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript for AI applications.
• Production experience with agentic AI frameworks, document parsing, autonomous agents, and LLM systems at enterprise scale.
• Solid knowledge of modern AI orchestration: LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen, MCP, LangChain.
• Demonstrable CI/CD pipeline management (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) with GitOps practices.
• Proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes and service mesh patterns.
• Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, REST/SOAP, Agentforce).

Certifications (SFDI/DevOps), Slack app integration expertise, Salesforce Einstein/Agentforce knowledge, open-source contributions to AI tooling, fine-tuning/RLHF experience, and background in SRE or MLOps are highly valued.
