AI Engineer Role in Healthcare Innovation

Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare client, is seeking talented AI Engineers to join our innovative team. You will leverage your expertise in Generative AI and Machine Learning to solve complex problems, focusing on building and deploying AI solutions within healthcare applications in the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) domain.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy AI solutions using Generative AI and Machine Learning.
• Focus on EIM domain within healthcare applications.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering, AI/ML, or related fields.
• Expertise in frontend (React/Next.js or similar) and backend (Python).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Multi-agent frameworks (LangGraph/A2A), Vector databases, and MLOps pipelines.
• Proficiency in developing and deploying microservices and agents to Kubernetes using DevSecOps and secure API architectures.
• Awareness and implementation of Responsible AI (RAI) principles, including PHI/PII scrubbing, hallucination detection, and prompt injection mitigation.
• Experience implementing LLM evaluation frameworks (e.g., Ragas, Phoenix) for measuring faithfulness and relevancy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare domain experience, including Epic/FHIR integration and clinical terminology.
• Knowledge of advanced AI concepts like Knowledge Graphs (GraphRAG), Voice-AI, and "Deep Agents."
• Deep experience with Azure and Databricks.
• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or relevant publications.
