Location: Remote (United States, all time zones except Hawaii)

Duration: 9+ Month Contract (through End of Year)

Hours: 20 hours per week

Compensation: $70 - $75 per hour (W2)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer to design, build, and deploy practical AI-powered applications. This role will focus on leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern APIs within an enterprise environment to support and enhance marketing initiatives. You will be instrumental in transforming marketing strategies through innovative AI solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Develop AI-driven applications utilizing LLM APIs for content generation and marketing data processing.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-based services to support AI functionalities.
• Prototype, test, and deploy simple, scalable AI solutions.
• Collaborate closely with marketing stakeholders to conceptualize and develop proof-of-concept AI deliverables.
• Translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions and functional designs.
• Work cross-functionally, communicating technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to the documentation, testing, and ongoing iteration of AI tools and platforms.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of experience as an AI Engineer or a Software Engineer with a focus on building AI-enabled applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience building applications using LLM APIs for tasks such as content generation and data processing workflows.
• Extensive experience with REST APIs and web services.
• Front-end development experience, particularly in building applications integrated with internal tools.
• Experience working in enterprise-level environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in dynamic, entrepreneurial settings.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (approximately 40% of the role involves direct stakeholder interaction).
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous ideas into concrete, deliverable AI solutions.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience supporting marketing teams or marketing technology initiatives.
• Familiarity with the HubSpot platform.
