AI Engineer

Join the Risk AI Applications team at Morgan Stanley in Mumbai, India, where you will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge AI tools to enhance the efficiency of the firm's risk management processes and provide risk managers with novel insights. This role involves hands-on coding using Python and AI/ML models, with a particular focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) like GPT-4. You will collaborate closely with risk managers, model reviewers, and other internal and external stakeholders as part of a global team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement AI tools for risk management.
• Utilize Python and AI/ML models, with an emphasis on NLP and LLMs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including risk managers and model reviewers.
• Contribute to a global team environment.

Required Skills:

• 1-4 years of relevant work experience in AI/ML, software development, or related fields.
• Graduate/post-graduate degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven track record of Python programming.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and familiarity with model development best practices.
• Good understanding of financial concepts and products.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both specialist and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with financial models is a plus.
