AI Engineer

Version 1 is seeking an AI Engineer in Noida, UP, India to design and implement GenAI-powered solutions for enterprise use cases. The role involves designing and developing intelligent agents and autonomous workflows using agentic AI tools, and leading the integration of AI capabilities into existing platforms using Python and Java. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI strategy and roadmap, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to technical leadership. The position requires evaluating and implementing emerging AI technologies and frameworks, ensuring the scalability, performance, and security of AI systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Java for backend and AI development.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI models, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with agentic AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, AutoGPT, or similar.
• Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face).
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, version control (Git), and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to lead complex AI projects and mentor team members.

Desirable experience & skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of autonomous agent frameworks and orchestration tools.
• Exposure to MLOps practices and model lifecycle management.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects or research publications.
