AI Engineer III

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to build and deploy production-grade AI/ML systems that solve complex data problems in the healthcare domain. You will work with noisy real-world datasets, develop training strategies for high-cardinality label spaces (like medical codes), and leverage deep expertise across NLP, traditional ML, and Generative AI.

• Build scalable models using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Curate high-quality data pipelines where labeling strategy is the primary challenge.
• Deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP with Docker/Kubernetes containerization.

• Experience creating self-improving systems (active learning, RLHF) and mining rare patterns in large taxonomies.
• A track record of domain-specific AI that learns from historical decisions (e.g., autonomous clinical engines).
• MLOps proficiency including CI/CD for ML, versioning, and governance.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations like HIPAA, data standards such as HL7 FHIR or ICD/CPT codes, and FDA SaMD guidelines.
• Skills in explainable AI, continual learning, ensemble models, and multi-modal architectures combining structured clinical data with unstructured records.
