AI Engineer (Generative AI) - Bengaluru, India

Bosch is seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with a specialization in Generative AI to join our team in Bengaluru, India. This role focuses on applied research and development in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Text Analytics, and Deep Learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct applied research in Natural Language Processing, Text Analytics, and Deep Learning.
• Develop and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) for diverse NLP applications.
• Implement and explore Domain Adaptation techniques to enhance model performance in specific contexts.
• Work with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models and associated methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into product development.
• Publish research outcomes in leading conferences and academic journals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in NLP, Deep Learning, and related fields.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years focused on NLP/Deep Learning.
• Strong proficiency in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Text Analytics, and NLP.
• Demonstrated experience in NLP and Deep Learning research and development, supported by publications, projects, or open-source contributions.
• A strong interest and aptitude for research, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent programming skills in Python and hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure for large-scale data processing and model training is advantageous.
• Understanding of In-Context Learning (ICL)/Fine-tuning for Large Language Models (LLMs) like Mistral, Llama-2, and Gemma is preferred.
• Knowledge of Domain Adaptation techniques and their practical applications.
• Experience with practical and scalable applications of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and related methodologies.
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and adaptability to fast-paced work environments.
• Effective communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts.
