AI Engineer

Bosch is seeking an AI Engineer specializing in Generative AI for their Bengaluru, India location. This role involves conducting applied research in Natural Language Processing (NLP), Text Analytics, and Deep Learning. The engineer will be responsible for developing and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) for various NLP tasks, exploring and implementing Domain Adaptation techniques, and working with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into products and services, publishing research outcomes in top-tier conferences and journals, and staying abreast of the latest advancements in NLP and Deep Learning.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of overall experience is required, with at least 2 years specifically in NLP/Deep Learning.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Text Analytics, and NLP.
• Demonstrated research and development in NLP and Deep Learning, evidenced by publications or project contributions.
• A strong aptitude for research, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure for large-scale data processing and model training is advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of In-Context Learning (ICL)/Fine-tuning for LLMs like Mistral, Llama-2, and Gemma.
• Knowledge of Domain Adaptation techniques and their practical applications.
• Experience with practical and scalable applications of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and related methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
