Full Job Description
Role Overview
We are hiring a founding AI Engineer (Full-stack GenAI) to build, ship, and maintain LLM-powered products for education and business clients. This is an entrepreneurial role where the first engineer will own the full stack—from prototype to production—while building reusable components.
Key Responsibilities
- LlM Application Development: Design prompts, RAG pipelines, tool-calling agents, backend APIs, and simple frontends for conversational AI in English and Indian languages.
- Voice Agents: Build real-time voice bots using STT/TTS (e.g., Deepgram, ElevenLabs) and telephony platforms like Twilio or Vapi with low latency support for Indian accents.
- Data Automation: Develop workflows for document processing (PDFs, invoices), data extraction via OCR/LLMs, reporting, and CRM integrations.
- Evaluation & Quality: Create test sets, rubrics, LLM-as-judge scoring systems, and regression checks to measure output quality.
- Deployment & Ops: Manage cloud hosting (AWS/GCP/Azure), logging, monitoring, and cost tracking per user/transaction using Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
Must-Have Skills
- Experience: 3–6 years in software/ML engineering with at least 1.5–2 years shipping LLM products to real users.
- Languages & Frameworks: Strong Python (FastAPI, async) and JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with LangChain/LlamaIndex for agents.
- Voice Tech: Hands-on building voice bots using STT/TTS tools.
- Data Integration: OCR experience and integration via REST APIs/Webhooks (WhatsApp Business API, n8n).
