Aon Corporation is seeking a skilled AI Engineer for a Full-Time, Hybrid position in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role offers a 12:30 pm - 9:30 pm IST shift with cab facility available.

We are looking for a senior AI Engineer with a strong background in Data Engineering or Machine Learning to join our team focused on building AI-driven solutions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in both model development and system integration using cloud-native AI services. Knowledge of API development and an understanding of UI/UX are beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI solutions using cloud-native services like Azure OpenAI or AWS Bedrock.
• Build scalable data pipelines, pre-process large datasets, and generate vector embeddings or perform semantic search.
• Experiment with Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based orchestration frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and engineering to develop AI capabilities.
• Proactively identify and mitigate model hallucination and bias.
• Develop AI services, contribute to UX design discussions, and enhance model-human interaction.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous learning.
• Implement end-to-end AI solutions: data ingestion, pre-processing, training, and deployment.
• Utilize cloud AI services (Azure/AWS) for model deployment, fine-tuning, and orchestration.
• Build and maintain API services using C# or Python.
• Design and maintain vector databases and embedding pipelines using tools like Pinecone or FAISS.
• Implement model evaluation metrics, dashboards, and monitoring tools to detect drift and hallucinations.
• Ensure security, scalability, and performance in AI solution delivery.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of total experience, with 3-5 years specifically in AI/ML or Data Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in ML libraries like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience in developing and deploying AI solutions using Azure or AWS services.
• Proficiency in model lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent systems.
• Comfortable in API design, preferably using C# or Python (Flask/FastAPI).
• Exposure to agent frameworks like LangChain or CrewAI.
• Cloud-native development experience using AWS Lambda or SageMaker pipelines.
• Understanding of Responsible AI principles, bias detection, and mitigation strategies.
