AI Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an innovative AI Engineer for our Atlanta-based team at Insight Global. In this pivotal role, you will architect and optimize solutions across the core AI layer of our platform, focusing on advanced retrieval pipelines, sophisticated agent workflows, rigorous model evaluation, comprehensive observability, document intelligence (Document AI), and secure tenant isolation.

Key Responsibilities

• Craft and refine hybrid retrieval systems: implement components, run performance experiments, and validate results against real-world metrics to ensure high-quality data delivery.
• Build robust agent orchestration layers: develop tool integrations, manage dynamic prompts, and enable seamless human-in-the-loop workflows.
• Establish deep observability for AI ecosystems: instrument systems with tracing for model/tool calls, capture telemetry on tokens and latency, and lead failure analysis initiatives.
• Spearhead evaluation quality gates: construct comprehensive datasets and test suites covering both retrieval and agent logic to enforce CI-level standards.
• Pioneer Document AI capabilities: engineer parsing, extraction, and OCR pipelines tailored for diverse client engagements.
• Guarantee data security: implement strict per-tenant isolation checks across all layers to prevent cross-tenant leakage.
• Evaluate model behavior through adversarial testing: run prompt injection tests and other stress scenarios as part of continuous evaluation efforts.
