AI Engineer

Position Overview:

• Create and deploy AI-native applications managing full-stack development (backend + frontend)
• Craft custom dashboards and internal tools leveraging advanced AI analytics
• Engineer lightweight micro apps to resolve targeted business challenges
• Seamlessly integrate LLM APIs including OpenAI, Claude, and Hugging Face into production environments
• Design RESTful APIs and scalable backend services using Python
• Develop responsive frontends utilizing React or Next.js frameworks
• Rapidly prototype concepts through fast-iteration 'vibe coding' methodologies for quick validation
• Implement robust prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and context-aware AI architectures
• Enhance performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency of all AI-driven solutions
• Partner directly with product and business units to transform concepts into functional products

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years demonstrated experience in software or artificial intelligence engineering
• Advanced Python proficiency for backend architecture
• Proven frontend development expertise with React, Next.js, or comparable technologies
• Solid track record working with major LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Hugging Face)
• Capability to independently build and launch complete applications from inception to deployment
• Detailed knowledge of REST API standards, microservices patterns, and system design principles
• Working familiarity with prompt engineering techniques, embeddings, and RAG methodologies
• Solid experience managing data using Pandas and NumPy libraries
• Exceptional problem-solving acumen and debugging capabilities

Priorities:

• Likely candidate for LangChain or LlamaIndex framework expertise
• Awareness of vector database solutions like Pinecone, Weaviate, or Supabase preferred
• Background in constructing custom monitoring dashboards and internal utilities highly valued
• Exposure to modern AI-native user experiences such as chat interfaces, copilots, and intelligent assistants beneficial
• Familiarity with rapid prototyping tools and agile workflows advantageous
