The Role:

As an AI Engineer specializing in Agentic AI, you will be a hands-on contributor to the development of production-grade agentic AI systems that operate with real financial data and serve actual customers. You will work in tandem with experienced engineers, product managers, and designers to design, build, and launch AI-powered features. This role provides an excellent opportunity to learn the intricacies of operating within a regulated, customer-facing environment, with strong mentorship and avenues to deepen your technical expertise in LLMs, agentic systems, and production AI engineering. This is a practical, development-focused role, not purely research-based. You will be writing production code, actively participating in system design discussions, and contributing to the operational support of launched systems, under the guidance of senior engineers.

What You'll Do:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of LLM-powered and agentic product features.
• Build and extend agentic AI workflows that reason over context, utilize tools, and perform actions, guided by senior engineers.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines using financial data, prioritizing correctness and safety.
• Contribute to shared AI infrastructure, including LLM services, orchestration components, and evaluation/monitoring tools.
• Participate in the production operation of AI systems, encompassing monitoring, debugging, and enhancing reliability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with product and design partners, translating customer needs into effective technical solutions.

Technical Environment:

We foster a dynamic, enterprise-scale engineering environment focused on agentic AI. While we don't adhere to a rigid checklist, candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm for growth in this modern tech stack.

Core Engineering Stack:

• Languages: Python, Go, TypeScript
• Cloud and Infrastructure: AWS and/or GCP, Kubernetes
• APIs and Services: REST, gRPC
• Distributed Systems: Event-driven architectures, including Kafka

Agentic AI and ML:

• Integration of commercial and open-source LLMs into agentic workflows.
• Utilizing tooling for agent orchestration, retrieval-augmented generation, vector storage, and evaluation.
• Handling schema validation and structured data.

AI-Assisted Development:

• Leveraging AI-assisted and agentic development tools for design, implementation, testing, debugging, and refactoring.
• Learning to apply these tools responsibly while upholding production-quality standards.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience building or contributing to AI-powered features, LLM-based applications, or applied ML systems (professional or project-based).
• Solid engineering fundamentals in at least one backend language (Python, Go, or TypeScript).
• Familiarity with APIs, fundamental cloud concepts, and contemporary development practices.
• A keen interest in agentic AI systems, autonomy, and AI-assisted development workflows.
• A strong willingness to learn, accept feedback, and progressively assume technical ownership.
• Comfort and proficiency working in collaborative, cross-functional teams.
• A robust customer mindset and curiosity for solving real-world problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to LLM tooling, prompt engineering, RAG, or agent frameworks through professional work, academic coursework, or personal projects.
• Internship or early-career experience within the fintech industry or other regulated environments.
• Contributions to open-source projects, participation in hackathons, or personal projects related to AI or developer tooling.
