AI Cloud Platform Engineer

About the Role

Vodafone is seeking an experienced AI Cloud Platform Engineer to join their team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure, primarily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure on GCP.
• Develop and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, including modules and templates.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient data workload releases.
• Contribute to overall DevOps engineering for platform components.
• Implement Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevSecOps practices to enhance automation and minimize manual tasks.
• Create and maintain scripts for infrastructure automation, monitoring, and deployment.
• Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate models and algorithms into cloud infrastructure.
• Leverage GCP Data Services such as BigQuery, Dataproc, and Composer for data processing and analysis.

Qualifications and Skills

• Skilled in cloud platforms, with a strong preference for GCP, but AWS or Azure experience is also valued.
• Proficient in programming languages including Python, Java, NodeJS, and shell scripting.
• Experienced with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Familiar with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices, including GitHub Actions.
• Understanding of enterprise security management, with knowledge of GCP Secret Manager.
• Knowledgeable in GCP networking, serverless architecture, and data services.
• Experienced in containerization using Docker/Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
• Adaptable and proactive in dynamic environments.
