At Pepper, we are seeking a passionate AI Builder and researcher to join our Product and Engineering teams. You will play a key role in shaping our AI-native product, Atlas, by staying abreast of AI advancements, conducting rapid experiments, and contributing across the platform. Atlas is designed for scalable SEO, GEO, and content solutions, and we need someone who can keep pace with our fast-moving environment and bring innovative ideas. This role is ideal for individuals early in their careers with strong AI instincts looking for hands-on experience in building an AI-driven product. This is not a structured internship; you'll need to be proactive, inquisitive, and agile.
What You'll Do
- Research and identify AI tools, models, and techniques pertinent to our product roadmap.
- Set up and execute quick experiments and proof-of-concepts with engineering and product teams.
- Evaluate emerging AI capabilities, models, and third-party integrations for potential product adoption.
- Support the integration and adoption of AI usage and workflows across internal and customer-facing teams.
- Document findings, share insights, and keep the team informed about the evolving AI landscape.
- Investigate and resolve emerging issues, recognizing that the role's responsibilities will vary weekly.
What We're Looking For
- A strong technical foundation, with comfort using APIs, LLMs, and rapidly learning new tools and frameworks.
- Genuine curiosity and passion for AI, demonstrated by following industry trends, reading research papers, experimenting with large language models, and forming informed opinions.
- Product sensibility, with an understanding of user needs, motivations, and product improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly articulating findings and built solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A scrappy, self-directed approach, able to initiate tasks without detailed briefs and adapt quickly to on-the-fly problem-solving.
