About This Role
Join HSBC's Software Development team as a Senior Consultant Specialist to shape the future of AI infrastructure. You will provision, operate, and maintain scalable cloud-based environments powering our advanced AI platforms while ensuring enterprise-grade security.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design and optimize AWS-centric infrastructures with exposure to multi-cloud strategies (Azure, GCP), focusing on reliability and scalability for mission-critical banking applications.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop robust Terraform modules and automation toolsets to standardize deployments, reduce manual errors, and accelerate delivery cycles in our CI/CD pipelines.
- AI Model Operations: Host, manage, and fine-tune open-source AI models. Configure serving environments specifically for financial use cases while optimizing latency and performance.
Requirements & Skills
To succeed here, you must bring proven expertise in Python/Java development within public cloud ecosystems (primarily AWS). Hands-on experience with Terraform and modern CI/CD practices is essential. A deep understanding of AI platform architecture, preferably gained through work in the banking sector, will set you apart.
- Familiarity with API gateways like Kong or Higress for managing model traffic.
