AI Automation Consultant

About the role:

JoVE, a global leader in video solutions for scientific research and education, is seeking experienced AI Automation Consultants to drive a strategic operational audit and automation initiative across various business functions. This is a project-based engagement, with each assignment focusing on clearly defined audit and implementation objectives within a specific functional area. We are looking for consultants with deep expertise in AI automation within one or more of the following domains: Sales & Customer Success, Marketing, Content & Video Production, and Product Operations.

Scope of Work:

1. Workflow Audit: Comprehensive mapping of end-to-end processes, identification of bottlenecks and repetitive tasks, assessment of data flows and system integrations, and quantification of time inefficiencies and performance gaps.
2. Automation Design: Proposing AI-enabled workflow solutions, defining system architecture and integration requirements, recommending appropriate tools and technology stacks, and prioritizing initiatives based on ROI and impact.
3. Implementation: Building and deploying automation workflows, integrating with existing systems (CRM, marketing platforms, internal tools, etc.), launching pilot use cases, and measuring and reporting performance impact.
4. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Providing clear technical documentation and creating comprehensive process playbooks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in designing and deploying automation systems within Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Content Production, HR, or Finance.
• Demonstrated success in leading initiatives that have yielded quantifiable efficiency or revenue gains.
• Proficiency with modern AI and automation tools, including:
• LLM platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, Gemini)
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
• Workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make, n8n)
• Agent-based automation systems
• CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
