Role Overview

We are seeking an AI-Augmented Engineer with over 4 years of overall experience and at least 3 years dedicated to hands-on OutSystems development. The selected candidate will build and enhance onboarding, user administration, identity, and access-management features using the latest in OutSystems platforms combined with cutting-edge AI-assisted coding tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Core Features: Build intuitive onboarding screens, robust administration interfaces, and efficient workflows utilizing OutSystems Reactive Web / ODC technologies.
• Integrate Systems: Construct seamless integrations with identity providers (IAM), agency data sources, and complex enterprise systems to streamline operations.
• Implement Security & Access Control: Develop user provisioning logic, enforce role-based access control (RBAC) policies, and configure delegated administration features for multi-agency environments.
• Leverage AI Coding Tools: Utilize advanced AI tools daily to generate production-ready code, comprehensive unit tests, integration tests, and technical documentation. This requires writing effective prompts with sufficient context, business rules, and clear acceptance criteria.
• Review & Validate Output: Independently review, correct, and validate all AI-generated output against strict quality standards before submitting pull requests (PRs).
• Execute Testing: Perform rigorous testing to verify functional requirements, security protocols, and performance benchmarks. Collaborate closely with QA teams on role/permission regression testing.
• Enhance User Experience: Partner with UX teams to continuously improve onboarding flows and administration experiences for end-users.

Mandatory Skills & Requirements

• 4+ years of total software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on OutSystems development expertise (Reactive Web / ODC).
• 1+ year of dedicated AI-assisted development, with daily usage to generate production code and tests.
• Solid understanding of IAM concepts, RBAC models, user onboarding processes, or system configuration management.
• Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, CSS for frontend integration and backend logic.
• Demonstrated ability to write effective prompts and validate AI-generated code against acceptance criteria before raising PRs.
